Does Chem-Dry Use Water?

It is what you have been dying to hear, do we use water in our cleaning. And the answer is, Yes! Although our name says “Dry,” it is because our treatments dry much faster than steam cleaning alternatives. Our proprietary Hot Carbonated Extraction process uses the power of carbonation and powerful extraction equipment which allows us to use up to 80% less water than traditional steam cleaners.

Why does this matter? Well, here are just a handful of reasons why this is so significant:

1. It’s better for the planet. Far less water is wasted, and yet the same or better results are achieved.
2. Using less water is also better for the carpet. Many steam cleaners use high pressure machines to shoot soapy water to the base of the carpet, where it collects. This can make a breeding ground for mildew.
3. Carbonated bubbles. There are millions of tiny bubbles that literally explode the dirt and grime to be safely extracted from the carpet leaving your carpets cleaner, drier and healthier much longer than typical steam cleaning methods.
4. Dries much faster. This also means that your carpets will dry much quicker after being cleaned.
